Offense
The quarterback position belongs to Aidan Armenta. Armenta gets the ball out quick and doesn’t turn it over. He can also run it a bit. Don’t be surprised if Houston transfer Austin Carlisle has his own package. His speed is off the charts.
The running back room brings in a ton of transfers. The additions of Bryson Roland (D2 Arkansas Tech), Derrick Jameson (Utah State), Julian Walker (D3 St Vincent), Donald Chaney Jr. (Charlotte), and Trevon Kitchen (JUCO) are crucial to this offense’s success. Chaney Jr. is a former Top 10 running back recruit at Miami.
The wide receiver room returns experience in JP Coulter, Brandon Buckhoulter, Nic Trujillo, and Javon Campbell. The additions of Parker Fulghum (Clemson), Damarcco Blanton (Arkansas State), LT Robinson (JUCO), and tight end Bryce Anderson (Memphis), among others, provide solid weapons for this offense.
The offensive line room returns some experience in AJ Vinson, Drew Hutchinson, Kaliem Croswell, Reese Steele, and David Applewhite. The additions of Sean Dugery (Memphis) and Bright Fagbamiye (D2 Tiffin), among others, are massive for this unit.
Defense
The defensive line room is very transfer heavy. James Smith and Jaeden Calender have the most experience, and Derek Omoregie is returning from an injury. The additions of CJ Wilson Jr. (Butler), Marvin Hall (JUCO), Zyan Tremont (JUCO), and Le’Kell McGowan (Memphis) will be relied upon.
The linebacker room returns Noah Flemmings (All-SBC), Marcus Ross, Jabari Tiller, and Kelbee Holmes. Flemmings is one of the best defensive players in the Sun Belt Conference. The additions of Rickey Banks (JUCO), TJ Williams (JUCO), and Lazavier Amos (JUCO) round out a very solid unit.
The secondary returns some experience in Jay Harper, Zy Jackson, Carl Fauntroy, and Korian Wilson. The additions of Armoni Rue (UTSA), Larell Howling (Coastal Carolina), Taijh Overton (Arkansas), Chris Payne (D2 Lake Erie), William Wilson (D2 American International), Jayden Lewis (JUCO), DJ Jester (JUCO), and RJ Hall (JUCO) are huge.
Specialists
Punting duties will belong to Makenzie Ryan, who has been solid throughout his career. Kicking duties will belong to either Max Larson, who is returning from an injury, or California transfer Abram Murray.

Final Analysis
Louisiana Monroe has started strong in both of Bryant Vincent’s seasons (5-1 in 2024 and 3-1 in 2025). Finishing better must come now. Many changes were made to the staff and there is hope that the offense, especially the passing attack, improves. The Warhawks have only been to one bowl game in their history. It’s time to change that.
