As the Regular Season of College Football Season comes to an end, Highschool Recruits and current College Players alike will make their decision in terms of where they will play Football next year. Of course, this means that several key players will be on the move to new College Destinations for a variety of reasons!
While there will be a countless number of players in the Transfer Portal during the lone Transfer Portal Window, I wanted to hone in the Blue-Chip Recruits (4 and 5 Star Transfer Rated Recruited according to 247sports) specifically this offseason as they’ll be making the most profound impact to both on-field performance as well as recruiting rankings as well!
So for the duration of the Transfer Portal Season, check out the key players below that have entered there names into the Transfer Portal as well as my Predictions.
LAST UPDATE: 11 December 2025, 7:30 PM EST
Reason: The 1200 Yard Receiver over the past two years has dealt with ineffective offenses and generally below average supporting talent. Pitt on the other hand has Mason Heintschel who really shined once he took over the starting Job, needs a WR1 for 2026, and the Team is a solid squad within the ACC.
UPDATE (12/11): Michigan moves down from Favorite to Other Potential Options due to Sherrone Moore firing.
Reason: While a Talented Football Player, he now has character concerns which will require his reputation to built back up either through the G5 Ranks or a P4 School that’s in need of talent. With Mike Norvell currently on the hot seat, I think Florida State provides him with an opportunity to prove he’s mature beyond his tenure at Tennessee
Reason: This one feels a little bit more open since Kenny Minchey is likely transferring to garner more playing time now that C.J Carr has established himself as the starting QB over at Notre Dame. As of right now: Tennessee, Vanderbilt, and Indiana will all have new starting Quarterbacks in 2026 with Joey Aguilar and Diego Pavia potentially running out of eligibility plus Fernando Mendoza will likely becoming a first-round pick in the NFL Draft.
Reason: Looks its Tennessee’s guy to lose here. After a disastrous season at North Carolina, Khmori House can both assist in improving the Volunteers Defense in 2026 plus reunite with multiple coaches that he built relationships with during the High School Recruiting Process.
Reason: Brody Foley originally committed to Indiana but left because of lack of playing time. Now that he had substantial playing time plus played well with those opportunities? I expect him to get back into the Power Four Ranks. Alex Golesh originally recruited him out of high school and was very close to bringing him when he was on the Tennessee Staff. Now as the Head Coach at Auburn, I think he gets a hard look at the former 4-star recruit.
Reason: First off shout to someone from the High School Alma Mater making some waves! Type of kid out of Highschool that was a fringe FBS/FCS Player but developed into a star for the Miami Redhawks. With one year of eligibility left, this feels the most open out of the notable transfer portal guys right now. He’ll likely go to a Power Four School but I’m thinking he stays relatively close to home and joins a team that is not experiencing a head coaching change.
